School transitioning to e-books will give students a textbook option

A Texas high school is adopting a one-to-one laptop program for students at the same time it begins replacing traditional textbooks with e-books that can be viewed online or downloaded to computers. However, a set of textbooks will continue to be available for students who prefer them. Neighboring school districts say they might consider similar technology overhauls.
