Stunt pilot recalls inspiration for sky-high career

Air show pilot Rob Holland will be among the aviators dazzling the crowd at the Westfield International Air Show next week. Since getting his license at 18, he has flown alongside the Navy's Blue Angels as well as flying legend Dale "Snort" Snodgrass. He currently flies about 24 shows per year as head of Rob Holland Ultimate Airshows. Whether coasting upside down or diving toward the ground, Holland says he is drawn to the precision of aerobatics. "You've gotta make sure everything works 100% of the time," he says.
