Tech workers' confidence was at highest level since 2007 in Q2

IT workers indicated increasing optimism about the state of the job market during the second quarter, with 44% of IT workers saying they believe they could get another job if they needed to, and 71% saying they're not concerned about layoffs, according to a survey. More tech workers say they're confident about their company's outlook than at any time since 2007, according to the survey. Company executives, however, were a bit more subdued in their assessment, as about one-fifth said they planned to add staff in the next six months, according to a different survey.
