Are bonus plans losing their luster?

Employers have been able to fully fund their bonus plans just twice since 2005, and fewer than half of workers see bonus plans as boosting their performance, Towers Watson research indicates. "Companies may need to take a hard look at the design and delivery of their incentive programs to ensure they are meeting their objectives within the total rewards portfolio," says Laura Sejen, global rewards leader at Towers Watson.
