Easier check-in for families at Lufthansa

At Frankfurt and Munich airports in Germany, Lufthansa customers will be greeted by a giant, smiling gray bird. The presence of the airline's mascot, Lu, on an overhead screen is just one of the features Lufthansa is using to make its check-in stations more family-friendly. Kids will get to stand on a special step to watch the process while their parents will get information on baby-changing stations and other features.
