Health IT improves care quality, delivery

A report by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality revealed its "Improving Quality Through Clinician Use of Health IT" grant initiative showed positive effects on several areas including evidence-based preventive and chronic care delivery, chronic disease control, and provider satisfaction. The program is one of five AHRQ initiatives that emphasize Health IT's effects on health quality and patient safety.
