Judge: Sony, Nvidia are owed legal fees for patent-infringement case

A judge has determined that Sony and Nvidia should receive about $2 million to cover the legal fees they incurred during a patent-infringement case brought by a company called Biax. District of Colorado Judge Philip Brimmer ruled that the plaintiff needlessly prolonged the case "not only in the face of the Court's claim construction, but in light of its own expert's testimony supporting a finding of non-infringement."
