La. elementary school uses work stations to enhance learning

First-grade teachers at Port Barre Elementary in Louisiana are adding learning stations to their classes to give students more ways to learn math, science and other subjects. Stations include an iPad center, a media center, a listening center, a sight-word center and a computer center. Students will be able to move around, take part in hands-on learning, and receive more one-on-one help, teacher Krystal Richard said.
