Official discusses the future of military medical care with reservists

As the U.S. shrinks its military, those in the military medical profession need to think strategically about the future, the Army's deputy surgeon general said last week at the Reserve Officers Association National Security Symposium. "As we downsize the active Army, it only stands to reason that Army medicine is going to be downsized," Maj. Gen. Richard Stone said.
