OpenAirplane aims to simplify the rental process

OpenAirplane co-founder Rod Rakic says his goal in starting the company was to simplify the airplane rental process in order to make it easier for pilots to use their licenses. The company does not own any aircraft; it works with operators to enhance the rental potential of their fleets using standardized annual checkout and a smartphone application.
