Women entrepreneurs find opportunities in the Middle East

Women entrepreneurs in the Middle East face many of the same challenges and opportunities as their Western counterparts but are building businesses at a much faster rate, according to Chris Schroeder, who has written a book on the topic. Like women in the U.S., they manage work-life balance issues and deal with the implications of gender in society. "Being a woman, if anything, has been an advantage," said May Habib, the founder of a company that offers Arabic translation services.
