Drainage systems make rainy Northwest Little League parks fields of dreams

A new high-tech drainage system is allowing Little League teams in Everett, Wash., to quickly remove rainwater from their fields. Four new baseball fields feature the system, made of corrugated high-density polyethylene pipe, and hopes are high the system will allow the teams to play through the 36 inches of yearly rainfall the region receives.
