Rising salt intake in U.S. worries nutritionists

Americans' salt consumption has risen at an alarming rate in recent decades, nutritionists say. Meanwhile, launches of new low-sodium products have fallen by about 50% since 1991. But ConAgra officials say they're reducing sodium in some products without advertising that fact on labels because consumers are sometimes wary of reduced-sodium offerings.
