Comcast and the evolution of the TV business model

Comcast's Fancast.com isn't just a place where TV lovers can go online to pick from more than 4,000 movies and TV shows. According to Amy Banse, the president of Comcast Interactive Media, Fancast represents the next generation of the way people will be able to view just about any content across a number of media platforms: "If you're a Comcast customer and you buy a package of content from us, you should be able to consume and manage that content across screens. We very much believe that the Internet and the PC should be a tool to manage and consume that content."
