Rural Iowa gets HIT program

Michigan-based Trinity Health, a 44-hospital system, has an HIT program called Genesis that will be rolling out to all its facilities. Three hospitals in rural Iowa are the latest and have begun using EMRs that include PowerChart, FirstNet, RadNet, Profile and PharmNet modules from Missouri-based Cerner Corp.
