Ads to appear on British Airways boarding passes

British Airways, in a bid to offset lost revenues from a drop in business-travel bookings, on Oct. 1 plans to start running ads on boarding passes. BA, which lost $175.7 million in its most recent quarter, is the first big European scheduled carrier to run such ads, according to this article.
