Large airlines worry business may never be the same

The airline industry has yet to recover from the fallout from the 2001 terrorist attacks. Coupled with the global economic downturn, many are concerned that although the country will return to a period of economic growth, airlines may not see a return to their glory days. "It's not terrorism this time," said David Swierenga, an aviation economist. "It's a sea change in demand."
