NBCT, author wants to eliminate homework, middle schools

National Board Certified Teacher Brian Crosby advocates for eliminating homework and giving teachers every Friday away from the classroom to focus on planning and professional development in his latest book, "Smart Kids, Bad Schools." Crosby also says that districts should no longer pay teachers based on tenure, eliminate middle schools and place the best teachers in the schools that need them the most.
