Pediatric ambulance offers range of critical care services

A new pediatric ambulance in use by Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, Fla., is big enough to hold two patients and their medical teams. The American Ambulance Service vehicle has state-of-the-art equipment to deal with a wide range of medical emergencies and four redundant electrical systems to ensure continuous critical care services even if the engine is not running. The ambulance can go 800 miles without having to refuel.
