Skinny fall fashion mags sign of digital times

With upscale fashion brands like Diane von Furstenberg shifting some of their ad dollars from print to social media and other digital platforms, the September issues of many fashion magazines are about 33% thinner than last year's editions. Vogue saw its ad pages plummet to 429 compared to its record-breaking September 2007 edition, which boasted 727 ad pages.
