Studies boost argument that healthy lifestyle wards off chronic diseases

Results of two new studies suggest that people with healthy lifestyle habits, including not smoking, maintaining a healthy weight and exercising regularly, are at a lower risk of developing diabetes, heart attack, stroke, cancer and other deadly chronic diseases. "These studies are good news for consumers because they reiterate that there are many small things that individuals can do that will have big impacts on their overall health and wellness," an expert said.
