Survey finds older people binge drink too

A survey of 11,000 U.S. adults ages 50 to 64 found that 22% of men and 9% of women have had five or more drinks a day within the past month of the survey. The results suggest that doctors should consider binge drinking a health risk among older adults and not just among the younger generation, the study's lead author said.
