Caterpillar engine meets U.S. and EU emissions standards

Caterpillar gained approval from U.S. and EU regulators for the C9.3 ACERT engine. The product, which will be used in midrange tracked tractors as well as hydraulic excavators, meets emissions rules for off-road engines that take effect next year.
