Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., scrutinized the Obama administration's response to the Gulf of Mexico spill that froze almost all offshore drilling operations. "Today, thousands of Gulf Coast businesses are fighting their way out of this government-imposed economic disaster that only threatens jobs and businesses," she said. Landrieu also said the president's move further increased the country's reliance on oil imports.
