Luxury hotels turn to e-readers, iPads to keep guests impressed, entertained

For upscale travelers no longer impressed by Internet access or a host of premium cable TV channels, hotels are increasingly offering up the latest hot amenity -- reading devices. At Fairmont Hotels, that means the availability of e-readers at select hotels, although only to guests staying on exclusive Gold Floors, and Miami's Epic Hotel offers guests pre-loaded Sony Readers. The Forty 1° North hotel in Newport, R.I., offers iPads in every room.
