U.S. boosts community health center funds by $13 billion

A new government plan calls for spending $13 billion to increase capacity at community health centers, which started getting additional funding and attention during the Bush administration. Health officials said the goal is to have community centers more than double the number of patients they treat, to 40 million people, by 2015.
