Utah lawmakers look for new route on immigration bill

Arizona's northern neighbor has become critical of the state's controversial anti-immigration law. Lawmakers in Utah, now working on their own legislation, are collaborating with the business community, churches and the immigrant community to craft a bill that "is within our purview and our jurisdiction," said Sen. Luz Robles of Salt Lake City. A recent bill modeled on Arizona's "violates so much of the Constitution that it is concerning," said Robles.
