Calif. bill to regulate fracking is likely to pass, legislator says

Legislation that would regulate hydraulic fracturing in California is likely to pass, said Assemblyman Bob Wieckowski, sponsor of the bill. The measure would force oil and natural gas drillers to disclose the chemicals and amounts of water and wastewater used in fracking. The bill could be voted on in the Senate at the end of the month.
