Mr. Youth, a social media agency, surveyed 5,000 college freshmen and found that they are discriminating users of social networks and are up to date on contemporary technology. About 91% of the students do check-ins on Facebook Places or Foursquare, and while these members of the Class of '15 typically have hundreds of "friends" on Facebook, 73% don't consider someone an actual friend unless they're friends in person, according to Mr. Youth.
