Concrete becomes a focal point in Jeanne Gang's designs

The Aqua Tower in Chicago has 82 differently shaped concrete floor slabs that give it a wavy, water-like silhouette. Designed by architect Jeanne Gang, it's the tallest building designed by a woman. Her SOS Children's Village in the same city also features concrete and different mixes and colors to create a "strata-wall."
