Iowa music teacher educates peers in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame program

An Iowa music teacher spent a portion of her summer teaching lessons to her fellow educators during the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's summer institute. Teachers who attend the institute are taught how they can integrate rock music into their curricula. Sara McCue, of Lenihan Intermediate School, said she incorporates popular music into her classes because students can relate to what they hear outside of class. "Why not teach them about what they [...] actually are listening to?" McCue said.
