Ala. Supreme Court affirms Pfizer can be sued over generic drug

The Alabama Supreme Court upheld its decision that Pfizer can be held liable after a man said he was harmed by a generic copy of its heartburn drug Reglan because the company reportedly did not warn his doctor about the risks. The ruling could trigger more lawsuits. In 2011, the U.S. Supreme Court limited claims against makers of generics.
