Schools relax cell phone policies

The Yankee Group research firm estimates that by next year two-thirds of children ages 10 to 19 will have cell phones. Many school districts have eased up on their initial bans of the devices but require the phones be either turned off in class or kept locked up during the school day. Teacher Magazine (Sept 2004)
