TSA taps Analogic for small-airport screening system

The TSA has announced it will provide unspecified funding to Analogic Corp. for development of upgraded scanners for use in smaller airports. Analogic says the OnGuard checkpoint CT system can detect explosives and weapons in both checked bags and carry-on luggage. The company plans to deliver its first system by Oct. 31.
