Boston planners approve new construction projects

Boston planners have approved a proposed expansion of Liberty Mutual's headquarters in the city, as well as a new mixed-use development. The expansion would include a new $300 million, 22-story Back Bay office building. The Waterside Place project, a mixed-used development, will bring to town a new 21-story complex with residential, retail and office space. A rental housing complex and hotel were also approved.
