Business owners should reconsider whether their entire workforce needs Microsoft Office to complete job requirements, writes Shane O'Neill. Several companies have adopted a "mix-and-match" approach when it comes to office programs, using free Web applications such as Google Apps, OpenOffice, ThinkFree and Zoho Apps to supplement, and at times replace, Microsoft software.
