Specialty guitar company expands line to lift sales

The recession hit hard for a guitar company focused on custom-made guitars for exacting clientele. But "turnaround ace" George Cloutier reminded them that there are only so many customers for a specialty business and persuaded them to develop a second line of instruments geared toward hobbyists. The new guitar line has higher profit margins, is selling well and has expanded sales -- pulling the company out of debt.
