Apps help students with disabilities navigate college transit routes

New smartphone apps are designed to let college students know when their bus will arrive and, for some students with disabilities, whether it can hold a wheelchair. The free app Tiramisu is being used at Carnegie Mellon University and provides information about the school's transit system through GPS and crowd-sourcing by transit users.
