Rural hospitals get federal help with IT adoption

The federal government has introduced a program designed to give rural hospitals and other small businesses easy access to capital. As part of the effort, HHS will allow about 1,300 critical access hospitals to apply for loans for the recruitment of staff and the adoption of IT systems.
