Survey: Rising health care costs will increase worker burden

Large employers say they expect health care costs to increase 7.2% next year, and as a result, more than half of companies say they'll increase the percentage that employees contribute to premiums, a survey found. "Employers are being much more aggressive in their use of cost-sharing techniques and cost-control programs," says Helen Darling, president of the National Business Group on Health.
