Texas trees suffer from historic dry spell

Dry weather in Texas is affecting trees in Houston and Galveston, and its impact could worsen with restrictions on outdoor water use. Drought has already killed thousands of trees in Houston and affected thousands in Galveston that were planted to replace trees killed by Hurricane Ike in 2008.
