ACC lauds Obama's move to offer incentives for early adopters of cybersecurity measures

The American Chemistry Council has welcomed the Obama administration's plan to offer incentives to early adopters of cybersecurity measures to be formulated by the National Institute of Standards & Technology. Incentives may include risk-based insurance rates, legal protections and technical assistance. The administration "has recognized the important role that incentives can play in meeting the overall goals of the cybersecurity executive order," ACC said.
