Dallas' $1B DFW Connector will be "substantially complete" in 4 to 6 weeks

The $1 billion, 8-mile Dallas-Fort Worth Connector project will be "substantially complete" in mid-September to early October after nearly four years of construction. The design-build project includes "the addition of free lanes, frontage roads and toll lanes in the median" and an improved entrance at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. The Connector has been an economic boost for the area, creating more than 800 jobs during peak construction, according to officials.
