Decline in Singapore exports eases in July, but expectations are low

The decline in Singapore's non-oil exports eased considerably to 0.7% in July from June's 8.9% plunge. But many analysts believe that despite the improvement, Singapore is likely to fall short of the government's prediction of a marginal 0% to 1% rise in non-oil exports for the year.
