Kan. high school teams up with local bank for financial education

Silver Lake High School in Kansas has launched a student-operated bank that will give students in the banking and finance class an opportunity to apply what they've learned in the classroom to a real-world setting. School staff members and students will be able to open accounts at the bank, which already has more than 40 accounts on file. Silver Lake Bank helped launch the project and will provide guidance and support for students.
