Pittsburgh's growing restaurant scene struggles to find cooks

Allegheny County, Pa., has seen new restaurant openings jump from 10 to 20 per month in the past year, and the growth comes with growing pains as new eateries scramble to find experienced line cooks. "When you look at all the great restaurants that have opened in the past few years, for only so much talent to begin with, they really have the luxury of being choosy on where to work," said Brian Pekarcik, chef/owner of Spoon and BRGR in East Liberty.
