Financial firms are urged to create CPO role: Chief privacy officer

Financial firms should establish separate organizations dedicated to safeguarding confidential information provided by customers and employees rather than using a decentralized approach to privacy, according to a PricewaterhouseCoopers report. Chief privacy officers should be appointed to direct these teams, the report says.
