Libor, FX investigations drive requests for aid at U.K. regulator

Rate-rigging investigations contributed to a 14% rise over the past year in the number of global requests for assistance from the U.K.'s Financial Conduct Authority, according to a count by London-based law firm RPC. "As financial services becomes ever more globalized, regulators are finding that their work is increasingly turning up some sort of link to other countries," said RPC's Richard Burger.
