Ontario considering restrictions on OTC sales of cold drugs

The Canadian province of Ontario is considering a ban on OTC sales of cold medicines containing pseudoephedrine, a key ingredient in the production of methamphetamine. A special committee has been assigned to determine the feasibility of requiring a prescription for the drugs or if alternative solutions would be better.
