Connecticut legislator named deputy director of NBJC

Connecticut state Rep. Jason Bartlett, D-Bethel, will serve as deputy director of the National Black Justice Coalition. Bartlett, who is seeking re-election, became the first openly gay African-American state legislator when he came out in February.
